Perfect for the Patio Summer Supper

For our first official post we wanted to share the delicious dinner we made after spending our day poolside! We saw the Roasted Tomatoes with Shrimp and Feta and the Sangria Bianca pictured below on Pinterest and it inspired us to make the perfect Summer supper.

I mean, seriously... doesn't that look good? Is there anything better than a healthy dinner paired with a pitcher full of fruity-winey-goodness?

Here is what ours looked like:

Instead of using the 1 1/2 pounds of shrimp that the recipe called for we only used a pound, and it was plenty. Another good idea for this dish would be to add a little spinach to incorporate another healthy veggie. We also added a liter of club soda to the pitcher of sangria to make it bubbly and refreshing!

The house still smells amazing from the lemony-garlic shrimp... it was seriously so good! We also bought a baguette to sop up all of the sauce on our plates.

The sangria was fruity and refreshing, perfect for all of these hot Texas days. We both thought the best part was eating all of the "tipsy" fruit out of the bottom of our glasses when we were finished.
Obviously, we enjoyed it! And we hope you do too!
